Recently, the Italian Innovation Center welcomed a group of special "old friends." Ms. Coccetta, President of the SIDEROS Association, led a delegation of eight Italian business representatives to Yangpu, visiting the Italian Innovation Center at the East Bund Fisherman's Wharf International Center for in-depth discussions and exchanges.

Reuniting with Old Friends, Rekindling Ties
As a long-time partner of the Innovation Center, Ms. Coccetta's visit not only brought the enthusiastic expectations of Italian enterprises for the Chinese market but also a series of thoughtfully crafted "welcome gifts." The delegation and the Innovation Center team sat together for an informal conversation, using art as a bridge to share sentiments and exchange ideas. In a relaxed and sincere atmosphere, they continued to deepen people-to-people exchanges and friendly ties between China and Italy.

It is worth mentioning that renowned Italian musician MAURIZIO MASSIMI accompanied the delegation. As a musician active on the international stage, his presence added an artistic highlight to the discussion. Music transcends linguistic boundaries, just as Sino-Italian cultural exchange continues to extend through melody and dialogue.

Crafted Treasures, A Stunning Debut
As the highlight of the visit, delegation members presented a range of premium products with distinctive Italian characteristics, impressing all the guests present:

Collector's-Grade Deep-Sea Cellared Red Wine — Delegation member Samuele Campagnoni brought a collector's-grade red wine that has been slowly aged and matured in a deep-sea environment 60 meters below the surface. The prolonged underwater aging gives the wine soft and delicate tannins, along with a distinctive marine mineral flavor, rich in layers and with a long finish. Alongside it were several high-quality new cocktail offerings, each interpreting the Italian pursuit of ultimate flavor.

Italian Organic Premium Pasta — Mauro Piccini brought organic premium pasta from Italy, made with selected quality ingredients and following traditional craftsmanship. Every strand of pasta carries the Italian reverence and passion for the authenticity of ingredients.

Beyond Cuisine, Craftsmanship Shines Through. Chef Antonio Franze of the soon-to-open Antonio Mediterranean Restaurant — an official ambassador of the Mediterranean Diet certified by UNESCO — is the ultimate practitioner of this philosophy. He tells stories of his homeland through cuisine and plans to open his restaurant in Yangpu District, Shanghai, hoping that through this space, Chinese diners can truly savor the essence of the Italian lifestyle.

Using Fine Products as a Medium to Expand New Horizons for Cooperation
From deep-sea cellared red wine to organic premium pasta, these exquisitely crafted Italian products not only showcase the profound heritage of Italian culinary culture but also reveal to guests the enormous demand in the Chinese market for high-quality Italian products.
Marco Xu, President of the Italian Innovation Center, expressed great anticipation for these fine products successfully entering the domestic market and for using this as an opportunity to broaden cooperation dimensions — from food and wine to culture and art, from product trade to industrial cooperation — continuously extending the new landscape of Sino-Italian economic, trade, and cultural exchange.

Continued Commitment, A Two-Way Journey
As an international innovation platform, the Italian Innovation Center has always been committed to serving as a "connector" and "accelerator," promoting practical cooperation between Chinese and Italian enterprises in technological innovation, cultural exchange, and industrial collaboration.
Ms. Coccetta's delegation visit was not only a reunion of old friends but also a reaffirmation of shared commitment to cooperation. In the future, the Italian Innovation Center will continue to work hand in hand with partners from all sides, bringing more fine Italian products into Chinese homes and sharing more Chinese stories across the Apennine Peninsula.
