On April 25, 2025, a delegation from China Construction Bank (CCB) visited the Italian Innovation Center to discuss new opportunities in China-Italy economic, trade and financial services. Mr. Zhang, President of the CCB branch, led a delegation to visit the Italian Innovation Center. Xu Shunwu, President of the Italian Innovation Center, warmly received the delegation with the management team, and the two sides held a special symposium on deepening China-Italy economic, trade and financial cooperation.

The two sides held a special symposium on deepening Sino-Italian economic, trade and financial cooperation.


In his welcome address, President Xu Shunwu stated: "Currently, Sino-Italian economic and trade cooperation continues to deepen, and the demand for two-way investment is increasingly robust. As an international financial institution, CCB has rich experience in cross-border services and a diversified financial product system, enabling it to provide comprehensive financial support to Italian enterprises investing in China and Chinese enterprises going global."

"We look forward to establishing a strategic partnership with the Italian Innovation Center to jointly build a more solid financial bridge, helping enterprises from both countries seize investment opportunities and control cross-border operational risks," President Zhang said during the talks.


 

During the symposium, both sides focused on discussing the following cooperation directions:


  1. Providing exclusive cross-border financial services for member enterprises of the Italian Innovation Center.

  2. Jointly organizing Sino-Italian investment and financial policy briefings.

  3. Developing customized financial products for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

  4. Establishing a normalized information sharing and business docking mechanism.
